Korean BBQ Skewers
ingredients
- 300g turkey breast steaks
- 50g Korean sticky BBQ sauce
- 1 large carrot, grated
- 10ml soy sauce
- 5g fresh ginger, minced
- 1 glove garlic, minced
- 1tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp rapeseed oil
- handful chopped spring onions to garnish (optional)
- you will need wooden skewers pre-soaked in water (for several hours)

method
1. Dice turkey steaks into pieces and then thread onto pre-soaked wooden skewers.
2. Cover the skewers in the BBQ marinade and place in the fridge to marinate for around an hour (or overnight).
3. Whilst the turkey skewers are marinating, make the pickle by combining the grated carrot, sugar, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame seeds and oil.
4. Pre heat the oven grill (or a griddle pan over a high heat). Cook the skewers turning regularly for approx 10 minutes or until nicely charred and cooked all the way through.
5. Scatter over the chopped spring onions and serve with the carrot pickle. Enjoy!
